Tualatin Hills Dive Club

Just a reminder there is no practice Friday feb. 19 and Saturday the 20th due to the dive meet in Washington.

-February 12 and 13 dryland only
-February 20 duel meet with Baimbridge island divers. This meet is a self funded event, which means coaches travel expences are paid by those families attending. It will be added to your next months bill. I estimate for this meet it will cost between 25 to 40 dollars per family. For any families attending who are members of the THDC lessons program, the fee will be $50.00 flat coaching fee.
- March 6 and 7 Spring region meet. Register for this meet at www.divemeets.com for the region 10 championships. Register on time to avoid late fees. There will only be practice on Friday March 5 got divers competing in the region meet.
- March 18 - 21 Speedo sting in Victoria Canada. This is a Team funded event. THDC will pay all the coaches travel and expences. There is a 100.00 coaching fee that will be assessed on the next months bill for all families who attend.
- April 9 - 11 West Nationals in Minnesota. The top 6 divers in each age group at the region meet qualify for this meet.

The speedo Sting is a meet in Victoria Canada. It is for Divers with a JO list on 1 and 3 meter, tower is an option not manditory. The meet info is below. Please contact coach Joe thdc_coach@yahoo.com if you want and plan to attend.

In Mid November there is a meet in Long Beach California.  We attended this meet last year, and are looking to attend again this year.  The meet information sheet is below.  Please let coach Joe know ASAP if you plan to attend.

In order to begin diving on the 14th, all divers will need to re-register with aau diving as an athlete member. To do so you will need the club code below. 

Lessons Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 to 6:30

Olympic Garden Monday and Wednesday 5:30 to 7:00, Saturday 9:30 to 11:00

Bronze Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:00 - 6:30

Gold Monday thru Friday 4:00 to 6:30; Saturday 11:00 to 1:00

Parents,

The positive relationship between THPRD and THDC is ont that we would like to promote and continue.  To that end, the pool manager has made the following requests, and I hope that all parents take all necessary steps to take care of them.

 1.  make sure that they have paid their assessments (if necessary) and that they have current passes by the time your first fall practice starts. This makes the transition into fall much easier.
2. The drop off is now marked as a fire lane. You cannot stop and wait for your athletes. If you arrive before your child gets outside, you must drive through.
